tap lock

I just started using the new version 4.37. Why does my foot pedal seem to be going in to TAP LOCK when I haven't chosen it in the settings? Not every time, but it seems after an extended period of pressing play, when I lift my foot off to stop the player (like it did with previous versions) it keeps on playing. I don't want the tap lock feature on! Or is it another feature of the new version that I'm not aware of? Thanks to anybody that can help me figure this out.

Does it sometimes miss pedal presses too, or just pedal releases?

What type of pedal are you using?

Can you post your PC specs? (OS, CPU, RAM, etc.)

I haven't noticed that it misses on presses, only releases, and not every time.

My pedal is VEC Infinity IN-USB-1

I am having this same problem, except I have also noticed some missed starts. I have the same foot pedal and OS, AMD Athlon 64 x 2 dual core processor and 1 GB RAM.

I am also having the same problem. I recently downloaded the new version and now intermittently the foot pedal stays on even though I have released it.

Using Windows XP.

I am having the same problem - the foot pedal is unresponsive. I do not have the tap lock engaged. Often, when I release the pedal, the audio continues. Sometimes, when I engage the pedal, the audio does not start. The pedal malfunctions more often than it functions properly. This started after installation of 4.37.
