cannot open data from cd

Using Express Burn version 4.24, I created some data disks but I cannot open them. I have both powerpoint and word documents on the disks. I get a message like "cannot open name of file with a ppt extension. Is there any way to recover the information on the disks

Hi,

There sure is. Copy the files off the disk to your desktop, then you'll be able to open them.

PPT files cannot be opened as read only.

You need to save your power point shows as .PPS files to have them be a show file.
