Play back while recording?

How can i play back a file i just recorded while recording a new one. I would do this so I can take the later file and paste it over the first one for mixing.

But when i play back one file and start recording another it stops the first one. Like wise when i record a new file and then play back it locks me from doing it.

Unfortunately, you can't record and play file at the same with the current version of WavePad. You can record a new file by RecordPad Sound Recorder (can be downloaded from nch.com.au/recordpad) and play the file with WavePad.
