I am transcribing medical dictation using an Infinity USB footpedal. When the foot pedal is in "play" motion and happens upon a place in the recorded dictation where the doctor paused the dictation or hit rewind - I hear a deafening playback "screeching" noise until the pause ends and the voice returns. When listening to this same position in the voice dictation WITHOUT using playback with the Infinity foot pedal - you only hear the silent, dead space of the rewind/pause until the voice returns.....Therefore, it seems to be related to the footpedal playback - so I'm wondering if there's a setting or control option for the foot pedal which can fix the problem ?? Any helpful hints or similar experience out there ???
