Pedal Configuration

I have a new computer and downloaded Express Scribe. The recommended pedal was purchased. When I went to configure the pedal all it asked was for me to press on the Play part of the pedal - it would not then go to Forward or Rewind and those options are currently not working on the pedal - how can I include these two features in the configuration?

This could mean either that Scribe has not detected your press on the Play pedal, or that the "Number of pedals" pull-down list is set incorrectly. Choose "GamePort1 or USB1" or "VEC Infinity USB pedals", depending on which foot pedals you bought, and 3 pedals, then try the "Foot pedal control setup wizard" again.

I fixed mine thanks to your small clue! The program setting screen needs to be more clear. The dropdown for the pedal type says only the words "VEC Pedals USB" however that's the setting for the Infinity pedals. No where does the program hint that "VEC" is for "Infinity". The only place it appears is on this forum.

I am now using the Pedable program with my model number IN-USB-1 pedal foot control instrument "The Infinity Series" with success. Thanks!

This shouldn't be a problem now, with the improvements that have been made to foot pedal support in Express Scribe v4.36.
