In europe anyone can say me if caller id could really works?

We have customers that have working caller id in Europe.

All aspects of callerid are heavily dependant on the telephone company and the modem. The modem must support the type of caller id the telephone company supplies (often FSK).

Does caller id not work for you?

Yes it does, on my line I can see caller ID, (from telephone ) and now from an old

USRobotics 5630 that can via hyperterminal read caller ID :

using AT#vcid=1 ...

I thinking to buy a us RObotics 56k message modem

or USR 5668B but could it read the caller id info by TAPI?
