Just purchased Express Burn Plus and it burns every dvd upside down....No idea why? Anyone else have any idea, or how to correct it?
Hi,
This is a very long shot but worth a try. Plus I'm sort of interested myself to see if it works.
Burn uses the direct show filters to encode video files. (by default)
Now there are some settings you can change that affect the filter itself. Problem is that the filter settings are really hard to find. (i personally have no idea how to get to them using normal windows methods.
But if you download debut from our website and have a webcam or some sort of capture device installed, then you should be able to get into the settings using debut.
Install debut, then click options ->and on the first tab next to the input capture device there is a button for device settings.
Click this and it will open the filter settings. Which are global windows settings.
On the third tab there is an option to flip the image. Try changing this, and then do another burn and see how it comes out.
It may not have any affect at all, and someone else may even confirm this, but the more i think about it, the more i think that this option might fix it.
If it does fix the issue, you can then uninstall debut and the option will stay the same as when you set it.
Now if all thats too hard, theres another easier fix that might work.
in file -> options theres an option to use ffmpeg. tick this so it doesn't use direct show to do the conversion, and it might also fix your issue.
Either way please let me know how you go.
Thankyou
