Mixed Audio and Data CD (CD Extra)

OverVoice

Apologies, please excuse the daft question but can Express Burn produce mixed audio and data CDs in a similar way to "CD Extra?"

I would like to make a CD that automatically plays an audio track in a standard CD player, but also has the MP3 as a data file (and some photos) that can be copied from the CD - if that makes sense?

Thanks very much!

Hi,

Sorry but express burn won't be able to do this. When you create an audio cd, express burn will finalise the disk making it unable to have extra files added.

And using the audio cd option is the only way that you can add a song to a cd, and have that song start automatically when you put the cd in a player. (an ordinary cd player that is)

Thankyou
