Dual layer support?

Hi there, i've recently bought the software and i noticed a strange thing.

On my dual layer burners with a blank dual layer disc in the drive it reports space of only 579.49MB, and refuses to let me burn anything bigger then that to the disc.

These are high quality discs as i make code masters for duplication from these drives and using these discs.

Anyone seen this before? any `solution`? My burners are Pioneer DVR-108's and have burnt many dual layer discs fine.

Hi,

Which version of Express Burn are you using? Is it 4.26 or 4.25?

If you are using 4.25 please download 4.26 from the website and give that a go.

If you are using 4.26, please send me a Personal message with your email address and I will send you a different version that we can use to see whats going wrong with Burn.

I have a pioneer BDC-202 drive here so I will start doing some extra testing with dual layer discs etc and see if I can reproduce your problem.

I just installed ExpressBurn (free) and also have the Pioneer DVR-108 and see the same exact issue on my first dual layer attempt.

I have ExpressBurn 4.26 on a Windows Server 2008 x64.

I will try to install on a system with a Samsung DVDRW drive.

[update] Burning that same ISO image works on a different machine/different DVD burner. The working system has a TSSTCorp dvd burner (I think Samsung case). Same Windows 2008 x64 OS.

Sorry for the late response.

You are correct, the programmers are working on a fix, and I'll let you guys here know as soon as the new version is out so you can download it and not have to put up with these problems anymore.
