BEWARE of EMAIL from this forum labeled "Please Help!"

I am furious. I posted on here a long time ago and maybe only ONCE and today I get this! When I clicked on it said Please Help. I assumed it was a question about the problem I had.

How creative! I mean, I have all sorts of protection on my PC to guard against porn, but not from someone emailing from here in the guise of needing help! Genius!

Of course I can't find a way to contact NCH to let them know, so I am posting my complaint here.

I got it too and immediately deleted it. I never use this forum -- must have posted one message months ago or something. NCH is a great company ... I'll figure out a way to alert them to this if they're not reading these posts.

Yeah..i just got one today, I also thought that it has something to do with previous scribe problems, but the sender is already a deleted member, anyway I clicked it as well but immediately closed the newly opened browser and saw at the bottom that it was a link to a pharmaceutical company.

I also got the message everyone is referring to. I posted a question over six months ago and didn't get an answer so I never came back. I am glad I thought to check out this site first. Now I will just delete the email messge and won't open it.

Yes, I got it too and deleted it. If someone you don't know sends you a PM which is obviously a link, deletion is the way to go.

I am sure Admin here can't possibly police PMs.
