I downloaded a .wavpad file from a Sony Digital Voice Recorder into the Windows Audio Recorder via a link between the audio output plug to the mic input plug on my PC. When I tried to convert the audio .wavpad file to an .mp3 file the software indicated that it created such a file but nowhere on my PC could the .mp3 file be found as it was directed to be created in the original source file folder that contained the .wavpad file. Why won't this software convert .wavpad files to .mp3 files?
