flac file burns as 1 track

I have dloaded some music in flac format, but after I convert them I end up with 1 file, so skipping tracks is impossible, is there a way around this?

Pretty computer illiterate here, so make it simple please

Are you saying you had a ALBUM worth of flac files, and Switch converted them all into one file?

yes it converted into 1 single mp3 file, no tracks

Are you sure you're using Switch?

If you ripped from from a physical album, it would have been Express Rip. In it's Options there is a tickbox for 'rip as a single track' which could have resulted in this.
