Switch Crash During Conversion

I am running switch on Win Server 2003 in order to use the command line to convert from .dss to .wav. I am trialing the product by using the GUI to convert from .dss to .wav. When I try to convert, the application crashes with an error saying it could not read the memory. Any ideas?

As a follow-up, I do not have a sound card on this server. But will this cause the program to crash? Assuming I get a sound card, will this program run on Windows Server 2003?

it shouldn't cause the program to crash, the problem may be related to Win2003 more so than a lack of a sound card. It might be that the dss plugin is not working properly on Win2003. I'll see if I can find out more info.

I'm having what seems a somewhat similar problem. I'm running Switch Plus under a Java Tomcat web server using the batch version and although it's not crashing it's not working either. This works on my laptop using XP, and it works directly from the command line.
