I have been trying all day to listen to files that I have loaded onto the Express Scribe but I keep getting an error message
So, there is a Sound Device Error dialogue box and it states: "Unable to start playback. It might mean that there is no soundcard installed or the soundcard is being used by another application."
I am able to hear the files on my laptop (which has Vista) but my desktop (which is my main computer I use) I am not able to hear the file and get this error message. My desktop computer has Windows XP but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I don't know why it is basically saying that my soundcard on my desktop is not compatible with the Express Scribe program.
Has anybody else come across this problem ever before?
