After a recent hard drive failure, I was unable to reinstall the Switch software. I had made a copy of the Switch folder in my program files, and tried reinstalling from the backup cd by going to start... run...open...switch.exe. This didn't work...gave me the trial version, not the licensed version.

Now, I am going to have to purchase the software again and reinstall.

I want to make sure I do my backup correctly this time.

1. Once I install the activation keys, How do I backup the installed files?

2. How do I reinstall the software from the backup file in the event of computer crash?

Hi,

All you need to do is keep a copy of the install .exe file you used originally, and the email with the registration details.

Simply install, and register the same exact way you did originally.

Hi,

Making a back-up using back-up of any software using a CD-ROM, flash drive, or zip disk for future re installs.

To register Software;

Launch Software and click File-> Register Software...

IGNORE the serial number box

Use the copy/paste option to input the Name/Location/ID Key into the

corresponding boxes. Be sure to leave out any leading or trailing spaces.

Click Help-> About to confirm you have correctly entered your

registration details.
