Will not record incoming message.

Setting up v 2.43 and I can't get it to record incoming message. It will give OGM when it answers, but won't record ICM.

Also, down in the corner there is a telephone handset icon, when it mouse over it says [line1 inactive]. What does that mean? Is it active when it answers?

I am using it as a simple answering machine. No multible mailboxes. Just using the default mailbox. Do I have to edit that someway?

The inactive message just means no one is currently connected.

First off does the system work correctly using the call simulator. Use this to test your setup and configuration. Most likely you have your OGMs setup incorrectly.

Otherwise please check the installation of your modem drivers. Please uninstall and reinstall your modem. Please check that the voice/wave drivers are correctly installed.
