Opening a 1FD file format

I can open a 1FD file format in bytescribe wave player but prefer to use Express Scribe. I have a limited number of days until purchase of both products. I will purchase one. Does anyone know how to open unrecognized file formats in Express Scribe? In bytescribe you use open all files.

Express Scribe is a free product. There is no trial period, and no licence is required.

You can't open audio files of unsupported formats as dictations.
