foot pedal problem

I recently purchased new foot pedal (VEC Infinity with USB connect) my device mgr shows everything in order and I have tried all USB ports on my computer but Express Scribe tells me they are not attached everytime I try to calibrate them... this is extremely frustrating... all my ports work properly and the foot pedal is showing on system but ES is telling me to verify plugged in and that they are indeed VEC pedals (well they are and it is). I have uninstalled and re-installed manually the driver (although it is auto on my system) and I have uninstalled and re-installed ES to see if I could get it to take and I'm having no luck! Can someone please help, I don't know what else to do and I have work piling up. Someone please help me, thank you.

I'm with you . You are not alone. I have lots of work to catch up on as well. I've been told Vista Business allows for a downgrade to Xp using a waiver from Microsoft to use the same product key code. it's 136.00. Xp works best with ES and Vista Stinks. I too cannot get my pedals to work with Vista, it won't recognize the pedals. It used to, but no longer.
