How do I remove pops and crackle automatically

wd4kav

Is there a way to have WavePad automatically remove or minimize pops and crackle from old vinyl records? I've tried the various tools and effects supplied with the program, but can't find a way to have the program minimize this type of noise automatically.

Your suggestions are appreciated...

Hey Kavman,

Sounds like Golden Records might be what ur after.

the screenshots of the wizard show the automatic click and pop reduction. probably easier than using wavepad

Do you know that this procedure does what it says that it does?

It is one thing to show a procedure for doing something, yet quite another to confirm that this procedure actually does what is promised. Which is it in this case?

There is many a slip between a promise and the lip.....
