Playing files

How do you set it so that when you again press on the pedal to play, it goes back a few seconds? I had this on my older ES but can't find it on this one. Thanks.

Click on Options---> Playback and then look for the spot on the Playback tab that says Auto Backstep On and adjust that to your desired settings.

That would be great, except I don't see anything in Express Scribe--either in the pull-down menus or preferences window--that says "Options." Where might I find that? I'm using a MacBook (OS X Tiger) and Express Scribe v. 4.26 PowerPC.
