None of the above is better or worse when it comes to sound. The color scheme is there so the person working in WavePad can see what they are working with. Green with black background is when a track is showing with nothing highlighted. White with blue background is where the entire track is highlighted (or part of a track for that matter). All white... Well I've never seen that.
