Setting .wav file default

On intial set-up I keep going into the file settings and checking .wav files to open with Express Scribe and click on OK. But when I go back, the .wav files is not checked? Any suggestions?

Which version of Express Scribe are you using?

Are you running Windows XP? Windows Vista?

Does your Windows user account have administrator privileges?

I'm having the same problem ... I check ".wav" under settings>files types; I go directly back into settings, and it's un-checked.

I download directly from TouchType2 into my Express Scribe online... it used to work before I upgraded.

I'm running Express Scribe 4.23 and Vista with SP1.

HELP!
