Express Scribe v4.23 for Windows has been released.

- Fixed: SAPI4 speech-to-text engines are no longer ignored when Dragon NaturallySpeaking v9 is detected.
- Fixed: Text created by SAPI4 speech-to-text engines wasn't being added to dictation notes.
- Fixed: Several menu items and tool-bar buttons are now only enabled when exactly one dictation is selected.
- Fixed: The default size of the main window and the default height of the Notes text box were too small.
- Fixed: Relative heights of dictation list and notes were changing on application restart (depending on the current Windows theme).
- Fixed: Default value of the folder input on the "Load Dictation File(s)" dialog is no longer clipped.
- Fixed: Tool-tip for "Refresh List" tool-bar button on the "Load Dictation File(s)" dialog was wrong.
- Fixed: "Please select the default..." validation error message for word-processor template document list no longer shows over unrelated options dialog tabs.
- Fixed: Typo in "Forward Dictation" dialog title.
