Can't Play File - Please help first timer!

I have listened to the "Welcome" intro within Express Scribe (ES) thru my headphones without any problem. Somehow I now have my file (I need to work on) in Express Scribe (can't remember right now how I got that there), but I can't listen to it. I've clicked on everything in ES. I've read the Tutorial, Help, Freq Asked Qstns, Qstns in the Forum, etc. What am I overlooking? Please help me!!

I don't know if you've managed to get your scribe working but my solution was to right click on the desktop icon for scribe and click on properties. On the tab for compatibility tick the box showing "Run this program in compatibility mode for ... and chose the Operating System which you are running". Hope this works for you, it worked for me.
