leob My voice files will play with Express Scribe in an XP machine, but not in Vista. Vista is not supporting a G.723.1 codec. I did some searching on the Internet, but this is a new area for me. Does anyone know where this codec can be found?
cjessee I have also found a few codecs in which Vista does not support - those being: OKI ADPCM and ADPCM - I have contact the manufacturer of the hardware that is producing these codecs - they basically said that I was out of luck. If I see anything - I'll let you know - if you do the same for me.
leob Absolutely. Thanks very much for your reply. I wish that there were a way to get Microsoft to support these codecs.
