Express Scribe - install Linux - error

Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. I have downloaded scribe.tar.gz from http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/linux.html. I run scribe.sh and:

Installation was unsuccessful.

I installed it via WINE and it worked fine for me. (OpenSuse)

Is this the way you are installing it or are you using the Native Version?
