Error regarding Foot pedal

I keep getting this error HIDwatch Read error 1167 and my foot pedal won't work. I have to keep logging out of Express SCribe and then going back in. It works a a little while and then I get the error and have to exit and log back in. The foot pedal is plugged in. I am not sure what the problem is. I have already downloaded the most current. I am using 4.19. Please HELP! :angry:

I'm having this same problem and it is very frustrating. Nothing I've done or been told to try has solved it. Did you have any solution? I am also using 4.19. HELP!
