We purchased the IVM about a month ago and left it with our computer guy to configure. This hasn't worked out and he has had very very little support from IVM. We are based in Australia, and IVM (i think are OZ as well), recommended we purchase a TAPI Talk Voice 4L+ 4 port PCI voice modem. This is installed and works. I have now spent the last week trying to make our "new phone system" work but alas it has failed to impress.
Using OMG, we have set up a simple phone answer message with Press 1 for this and 2 for this etc. We require incoming calls to be directly transferred to mobile phone numbers, these mobile phones don't need to be answered because they have their own individual message banks. Just a simple transfer and hang up.
What are we doing wrong? Firstly, do our phone lines need to be converted from Analogue PSTN to Digital ISDN2 for this to work. Are there any hook flash issues or code/string required to be implemented uder settings to make this work. Any help from anyone who has had similar issues would be mostly appreciated before I lose all my hair.
