Switch says: The specified source format cannot be read.

When I tried the demo, Switch correctly converted my wav files into mp3, but of course, only 60% of the file. So I bought the program this morning and downloaded it. Registered, installed, etc.

Now, when I click "Convert", the program responds with "The specified source format cannot be read.

The source format is "Codec: extensible wave format."

Any ideas?

What version of Switch are you using? Where did you obtain the original WAV files? PC or MAC?

i get the same error, but with mp3 files. i have the latest version as well.

I, too, am experiencing this conversion problem with SOME of my mp3 files. Any ideas?

I'm trying to convert some 16-bit flac files to mp3, but it says it is unable to encode the files in the specific format. I downloaded the flacdec and the flacenc but none of these works, is there something I'm doing wrong? I have the demo, v 1.40
