Quality of files

Hi,

Am new to wavepad so may be a little rusty.

I have ripped some cd's and imported to Wavepad as WAV and also MP3 and my problem is the quality of the sound when played in Wavepad. I loose a couple of sections on most tracks>

I've played the CD'd on WMP no problem,

Just to make sure I ripped via Express Rip Plus also but is there a setting I am missing eg

what should the Encoder setting be for a WAV file?

If you want uncompressed WAV audio, select PCM encoding.

Regarding the lost sections, can you please elaborate on what's missing? Are you able to work out a pattern? Is it the quiet bits, or the beginning/middle/end? Or does it simply appear to be random?
