My fault!

Well, I was looking for a place to add this comment because I should have read the email from A to Z.

After paying for the software, little did I know that I am stuck with that version only.

Great job, I have to admit that even if it supports OS servers, I never saw a company like yours.

Even adobe offers better support and upgrades.

If fact, even WhereIsIt offers a one time purchase and you always get the latest version.

Not only you ask for money each time the version changes from 0.0.1 to 0.0.2.

But you made the programs to add more advertising on the program directory.

Oh wait, not finished here... if ever you click on the wrong option, it will RIGHT AWAY install the software you are missing. BANG! VOILA!

BUY NOW THIS UPGRADE... GET THIS NOW... etc.

This software is more of a type of spammer and you guys are horrible.

Seriously, I WILL NEVER AGAIN buy anything from here.

For simple home usage, this is the WORST RIPE OFF EVER!

Wish you be best, maybe a slow or fast bankruptcy, your choice.

While I do agree that NCH could definitely provide a bit more support, I must point out that

a) NCH does provide free upgrades, but only within a specified time period since you pruchased/activated your license. I think it's somewhere around 3 months (don't quote me on this though), but within that time upgrades are free. If it were up to me, I would change it so all minor upgrades are at no cost and major upgrades carry a cost independent of how long ago the software was purchased, but that is up to NCH to decide.

NCH does provide a basic support level to users who have not purchased a support package in addition to the user support forum, and does provide comprehensive support to those who do purchase one of the available support packages.

What I do find a bit ironic is that that a significant portion of NCH's products are business phone system related, and yet they do not have a phone number themselves for users to call up (unless you buy the highest level of support).

I believe we'll soon be opening up a dedicated support department in the US, so service will only improve. And you're right about the 3 months, you get free upgrades for at least this time. It's then up to the developers to decide which versions will require new licenses (as they know what's changed between them).
