JRH1945 I need to know if I can change speed to a slower speed? I looked for weeks on EBay to find a small reel to reel player so I could make CD out of old reel to reel tapes. The player I got has only one speed. That speed is faster than what the tape was made with. Is there a way to slow the speed down? I tryed the speed change. I need to go down. The Wavpad will not let me put in a -number? Please help? Johnny
[deleted] Hi Johnny, WavePad's speed changing function works as a percentage, so if you want to make the speed lower just enter a number lower that 100.

[deleted] You're using the Effects -> Speed Change filter, correct? Put in a value of 50 and then hit preview, does it sound slower?
