I recorded several tracks on a multi-track reel to reel, then played some of the tracks into Wavepad and saved to CD, making sure there was a reference in the beginning of each track for lining up later in the studio. The tracks from the reel to reel, and the CD tracks, were then loaded onto the mastering gear in the recording studio, and the CD tracks do not line up with the tracks from the reel. They start out lined up, and the pitch is the same, but by about 10-20 sec. into the song, the CD tracks begin getting out of alignment with the tracks from the reel to reel and are quite off by the end of the song. The mystery is that the pitch hasn't changed, but somehow there is something happening in Wavepad (or perhaps the CD burner?) that is changing the length. Since it never occurred to me that this would happen, it has caused quite a problem. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
