I'm having a difficult problem that just recently cropped up. I record in CuBase, and then save the file as a wav file in wavpad. I used to get very smooth files. But now, for some reason, the wav files are saving as two the three times the normal size, and sometimes the quality of the audio is poor if I record in mono. I must have changed a setting somewhere. In the past, I could save a twenty second voice track and it would barely take up 750kb. Now, when I save the same file, it's hogging 3 or 4 megs; and sometimes the sound is distorted. What did I do wrong?
