low volume when using laptop

I have created viewlets using Qarbon, but have done the recording in WavePad. The volume level

is fine when I play the viewlets from my desktop and listen through the external speakers; however,

when the viewlet is played from a laptop, regardless of whether or not the user is listening from

external speakers or through headphones, the volume - even when increased to its full potential -

is barely audible.

Would anyone know the reason for that? I've tried working with the volume control settings, but have

met with no success.

What are other sounds like on the laptop? The volume of the audio is specifically defined within the music file itself, if you are experiencing different audio levels between machines then it's likely a settings you have changed on that particular computer. Go through your sound setup again in Windows, making sure everything looks okay.
