Hi,

Firstly, I love NCH, it makes my life way easier. My problem is this... I often get CD's that are in .cda format. I can easily convert them using SWITCH. They play just fine in ES, but my footpedal will not work, even after I've added new file types (.wav, .cda, etc). Is there something else I'm supposed to do to get the footpedal to work after file conversion? My footpedal is a WAV pedal, USB port, and it works just fine when my file is originally a wave file. Please help.

This is a very strange issue, and I do believe there are other factors which are the actual cause of the problem which you have not discussed. The foot pedal support and the audio format you're playing in Express Scribe are completely separate issues - one does not affect the other.

So you're saying the foot pedal works fine when you're playing audio already stored on your PC, but when you import audio from a Switch conversion it no longer works? Can you play the audio without using the foot pedal? What happens if you use the Import CD feature of Express Scribe, does the foot pedal work then?
