While testing/evaluating the NCH software package (buy/no buy) I downloaded the four movements of the Bethoven’s 9th symphony from music list in Wikipedia - all four tracks were in *.ogg format. Three tracks were OK, one was too slow - sounded like a very slow tape play-back. When I double-click on the file name, the Wave Pad starts playing (or I can convert the file into *.mp3 - which was my aim, in the second step). I have no idea how slow it was in terms of a factor or playing rate. My questions: 1) how do I find what the current rate of the original is and 2) how do I convert it to the correct rate in order to produce a decent mp3 file to burn ??? Thanks to anybody for hints/help. Theo
