mp3 files will not play in Windows Media Player

soundman2

I am using a Edirol R-09 MP3 recorder to record audio voice files. I use Wave pad to edit and amplify the files and then save the files to an external drive in MP3 format with a bit rate of 24. If I open the saved files in Juke Box they pay fine, but when I open them in Windos Media (Windows XP) they sound like chipmunks talking. Any suggestions?/ If I burn the files to a CD others have the same issue.

Try saving as a wav file locally and see if the problem exists. Then try saving as a 128kbps mp3, and work your way down from there... try and find out exactly which step in what you're doing is causing the problem.

Hi,

Nice product by the way. Not impossible that I will buy the full product.

Just a question like that

I have the same problem here. I tried all the possible combination and I'm still unable to play .mp3 after SAVE AS .mp3

Do we need any special codec ?

Thank you
