Recordings come out muffled and incorrect speed when played back right after recording (prior to save). This worked before, but is not now. I can't think of any changes to codecs (maybe Napster installed a new one - I don't know how to check). I purchased this product because I really liked the sound quality and features it has. Please help. What codecs should be used for optimal recording quality? How do I fix this problem?

I've read the entire WavePad manual and it doesn't caver the problem I'm having. Playback of files I have previously recorded with WavePad playback fine. Only when I try recording a new file I get incredible distortion(a very "tiny" sound) and the pitch seems to be very low songs are almost unrecognizable. I paid good money for this product on September 29, 2007 and have only used the product a few times (without problems). I think I deserve some support here since I have only used the product as intended.
