Hi, I have the same problem so I tries running flacdec -- the decoder manually:
flacdec -d filename
and got the following error message -- still leaves me not knowing how to solve the issue though. However it may have something to do with the fact that after installing various bits of video and audio software I now have problems playing any audio back on my maching!
