Editing mp3 file

Whenever i try to edit a 3m21s song, only 2m30s plays& downloads onto wave pad. It plays the full song when i use wmp or another player. It is an mp3 file (audio portion song of a you tube video).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You,

If you attempt to convert the audio to wav using Switch, does it still only create a 2:30 file?

 Hey thank you very much !

First I converted the mp3 file to a wav file, and the full song played on WavePad, the full 3min21sec.

I edited the wav file, then converted it back to an mp3 file.

Seems like alot to do, but it worked !

Thanks again !
