Docfxit Make sure that you have not selected "Start before logon - Do not show icon" selected from the drop down list in the general options under "Run IVM automatically as tray icon on system startup" as this will cause the icon not to display when the program is running.

Thank you, Docfxit It is possible that it is Windows 98 that is causing this issue, but as i dont currently have access to a 98 machine i cannot test this.
Emmylou78 I have now got access to a 98 machine for testing and we have experienced the same problem, we are researching this further.

docfxit I have uninstalled the software. I have re-installed it. After re-installing the software I did see the icon. After the first re-boot I couldn't get the icon in the system tray back. Thank you, Docfxit
