I did read the answer that fees have to be paid to Fraunhofer for mp3pro support. Needing to pay for this as an add-on should'nt be the problem for the user. I really would consider buying the program if this option was available.

If the mp3PRO codec is proprietary then licenses must be bought etc... which is neither good for the company or the end user. With that said I'll pass your suggestion on to the developers to look into mp3PRO, but this codec may remain unsupported for these reasons.
