The first thing of course is to make sure you have the latest version of Scribe, which is 4.15, and see if that helps. But there was a similar problem with dss/vista on another thread, and tech suggested installing a dss components from http://www.nch.com.au/components/index.html
There is an mp3el addon that might help. This is a pure guess, but if it works...
