Function keys

Hi all. I'd like to use the Switch software to transcribe files. Does anyone know if it's possible to use function keys to play/stop/rewind sound files AT THE SAME TIME as typing into Word? I'd really appreciate any help!!

Why use Switch when you can use the free Express Scribe software specifically designed for transcribing! You can find more info at www.nch.com.au/scribe.

Hi - thanks for your reply. I was having problems using Express Scribe, in that it only allowed me to download a few minutes of much longer audio files. That's why I was trying to use Switch. Have you experienced this problem with Express Scribe? - and if so, do you know of a solution?

Yes, that was a known issue with Express Scribe and has been fixed in the latest versions above v4.14. Install the latest version available on our site and see if you still experience the same issues.
