Annoying ain't it? Here's your fix... go into c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\nch swift sound\scribe\current
and you'll find the converted wav file for your loaded files plus the welcome message. If you want to delete the just the sound, the delete that welcome message wav file. The words for the welcome message will keep popping up, but with zero duration. If that also overly annoys you, you can delete the Welcome message dat file in that c:\documents and settings\.... scribe\current as well. I don't otherwise recommend messing with dat files, but in this case, I've been pretty safe.
