strange conversion

I am trying to convert a wma file to mp3

chose the correct input and output directories, but when I convert, it creates a 1 KB mp3 file of my .wma file

Anyone experience this? Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Think I have checked all menus for possible problems, but obviously I am missing something

In addition to that information, check that you have the latest DirectX installed. Go to Start -> Run -> type "dxdiag" and verify that it says your version is DirectX 9.0c.
