Password Protection of Audio Files

susan-chase

Hi all,

I am wondering whether it is possible to protect with a password the audio files (not the word files that one transcribes) that one loads into Express Scribe. Once the audio files are loaded into Express Scribe, I can't see a way to password protect them. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Susan

You can encrypt the files sent from Express Dictate (which require a key from the dictator) and have the same result as password protecting them. Once they are loaded into Express Scribe (and decrypted) it is assumed that you would be using your own protection/password for your computer/login.
