prospective new user needs a little help

This is probably going to sound a bit thick !!!

I am looking for software that i can use to create a 12 minute segment of a song (by repeating it

over and over keeping the beat correct) this is required for a dancing troup. The segment can then be put onto a cd and and audio tape.

Is it possible to do this with wavepad ?

Please can anyone help me.

Also is it easy to do ?

Thanks

My guess is that it is not, since joining two segments together (which is easily done with WavePad, using cut-and-paste technique) will fail to "keep the beat correct" at the juncture, no matter how much effort is made in editing this point; but I could certainly be missing something here....

If you cut/paste exactly on the beat marks then it should keep the rhythm the same.
