Switch partial conversion

Trying to convert VOB file from a video DVD into either wav or mp3. Switch loads the file from the DVD, acts as if it's converting, but only does 30 seconds of the file. What am I doing wrong?

Is the DVD encrypted or protected in some way? How large is the VOB file?

I don't think the DVD is encrypted or protected in any way. But being a user, not a techie, does "read only" mean it's protected?? Perhaps that is the problem. The video was created by the client and burned to DVD. The file is .99 GB, so I wondered if that size was a problem. It's in mp2+ format. I only downloaded the basic Switch program. Would this need the advanced version?
